here are some of my favorite images from my experience, for those who have yet to see them…

 Writer, spoken word artist, and firstly, Farmer John Fonteyn — (CRA , CSA) preaches the native tongue, of the culture of regenerative agriculture, creating an immortal feast, with his farm, where not only bodies, but mentalities are nourished in a space where we can look outside ourselves and give back, gracefully, and tastefully, and together as a community. So with his “earthkeeper” status (as the Andean shamans give initiation to), its spring and there are many seeds to be planted.

The sun has remained a constant source of wonder and inspiration, the impetus of human evolution. With each revolution of the sun, the evolutions of human kind take refuge in the light bestowed upon creation, and in the laws that operate both in a physical universe, and in nature’s mystic plan. Echoing from the dawn of ancient sun worshiping and myth based civilizations such as the Mayans, and the Shamanic societies of the Americas such as the Inca who see humanity as the conscious co-creators of reality, hails a practice of living in impeccable balance with the laws of nature, with the belief that human beings are inseparable from natural law and cosmic cycles. In this modern day of insatiable appetites we are witnessing a new recognition of natural law and philosophy where the survival of the human race is profoundly interconnected with the preservation of ancient cultures and sustainability of the environment: a rationality embodying a consciousness grounded in ancient wisdom that can provide the foundation for a new world. The driving force behind this revolution in thought might be a renewed search for understanding natural law as a measurement by which people must adapt their worldly laws. Perhaps, this new perspective would require a collective realization as well as an organic, global integration of technology, nature and spirit that would enhance our life experience rather than destroy it. This is a far cry from our current reality, which in essence is us subscribing to the cultural trance, colluding with the medias politically invested, biased perspective of reality. The solstice alignment of 12-21-2012, which centers our sun in the middle of our galaxy has been heralded by indigenous cultures as the perfect opportunity for this much needed change of perspective.

It is clear that our ancestors understood the measurement of the earth through the heavens, the movement of our solar system through our galaxy, and the cyclic changes we could expect as the movement reaches certain milestones, and one of which those is upon us now. Mayan society was far off in time, looking into the future to see the time period we are in now where the sun would rise inside the ball of the earth, heating it from the inside out, they were aware of the planetary change we are in now moving towards this galactic alignment. The galactic alignment of 2012 refers to the point in time when the precise center point of the body of the sun (as viewed from earth) aligns with the center point of the Milky Way Galaxy, a phenomenon which occurs as a result of the procession of the equinoxes only once every 26,000 years.  Mayans observed tracked and understood these astronomical processes and cycles of the planets, earth and solar system which were visible to the naked eye as they moved through time, as the union of the male principle (sun) with the female principle (center of the galaxy) proceeding toward creating a perfect balance. This was and still is a conjunction believed to have profound transformative implications. The Mayans believed this to be a place and time of tremendous potential and power for us.

During the 1950’s we discovered stone carvings of the Mayans that dated back approximately 1300 years that depicted time mapped back trillions of years, to a time even before” The Big Bang” This map of 9 cycles, tracing into the future was also represented in many of the pyramids that they built. These 9 cycles in descending order; cellular, mammalian, familial, tribal, cultural, regional, national, planetary, galactic, culminate with the universal cycle which ends December 21, 2012 when the sun enters the center of the galaxy, the grand eclipse of the ages, occurring only once every 26,000 years. Each one of these cycles (within the grand cycle) represents a state of human consciousness evolving at a rate 20 times faster than the previous cycle of evolution, with each one of the cells in our body representing the conscious totality of all the past cycles. With these cycles, the Mayans were not marking the passing of time, more so the intent of the universe and the rate and flow of creation. In the 20 years of the planetary cycle, we experienced the same amount of creation we experienced in millions of years in the cellular cycle. In 1999 our solar system came closest to the center of the galaxy, which brought tremendous change, as we entered into galactic consciousness. Awareness of our previous evolution from national to planetary consciousness has never been better exemplified than in the recent presidential elections in the United States where the entire world waited and hoped and welcomed a much needed change of perspective, as evidenced by unprecedented global media coverage.  When in recent history has any event generated such interest and concern on a global level?  The answer is probably never. In this time of globalization, interdependencies among the nations of this world seem to be increasing. In this “6^th day”, or cycle, as the Mayans would refer to the current shift, we are leaving behind an old paradigm, one of power with no ethics. As financial systems collapse, institutions and hierarchies without foundations of good ethics diminish, it is the end of the world as we know it, not in a cataclysmic sense, it’s simply about living with integrity. Looked at as an archaic revival or paradigm shift, perhaps we are recovering attitudes and feelings of 20,000 years ago,  a time before ego, male dominance,  warfare, propaganda, child abuse,  calling us to integrate the dynamics of nature. Now, like the ancients, we must devise a new plan, and we must give birth consciously to the new day.

NeoShaman

The modern institution of shamanism is one of the visionary planner and large system co-coordinator, one that strives to live in right relation rather than isolation as a society. In right relationship with social intercourse this is a place of inherent subjectivity of our values, in communion with the universal consciousness. This ascending archetype of interconnectivity, from a neo-mystical worldview, is a complex interconnected system with a metaphysical transpersonal quality, void of the toxic ignorance producing habits that currently prevail on this planet. The neo-shaman of 2012 must embody an effort to reclaim primitive “intuit”. As Terrence McKenna states in the documentary 2013, “what will save us from ourselves is to live as the shaman, who rises into a domain where past and future are different areas on the same topological manifold. The shaman is not imprisoned by linear time as our culture is, but rather lives outside of culture, in direct relationship to natural law and with nature itself, which transcends time and space…in a type of egalitarian partnership and an environment of great material simplicity with none of the paralyzing and toxic artifacts” that we as a culture embrace, and must escape.

As the sun rises and sets day in and day out just as it has for millions and millions of years, hopefully we will learn to embrace new dimensions of time, of sacred time, and summon the future, and manifest our destiny, our birthright. While the specifics may vary from tradition to tradition, there is a remarkable consistency running through ancient wisdom teachings from Vedic script, from the Egyptians, to the Mayans to the bible, which all point toward this time of great change where our lives will never be the same.

Neo-Noasphere

Out of fear, of each other, we descend, into dark patterns of domination

Oh the horror, of consequences, of ceasing, to live like primitive people

Oh, children, we must break through to the decency of our wildest imagination

As dark practices and habits struggle for legal toleration

Us, being at war with ourselves, like victims of an abstraction bubble

Cultural black holes implode, upon the great landscape, leaving the new day’s incarnation

Its no cliché, the futures details are ours to stimulate I find it necessasary to idealize the realization

Admire the metaphors of tremendous wealth, kind energy and form a vision that’s global

Nature has an economy, an elegance a style, that we may emulate like an immaculate manifestation

Approaching a global dying, we see history’s shockwaves have indeed left us subjective vibrations

Phenomenon’s, and disenchantments awaken us to the cry of a dying people

Ancient qualities speak the new language of salvation

Post modern vacuum to neo-mystical worldview, come into the richest apex of being, in this subliminal nation.
